Project Overview

The Mustard Seed Project is a vital non-profit organization dedicated to transforming lives in Upper Egypt by providing free, high-quality education and comprehensive support to underprivileged children and their mothers. Their work addresses critical challenges like poor educational standards, lack of resources, and limited opportunities.

To effectively communicate their mission, showcase their impact, and connect with supporters and volunteers, they required a professional online presence. My role was the WordPress implementation of their website, bringing the thoughtful and user-centric UX/UI design, created by the talented Maria Wageeh, to life.

Project Objective

The primary objective was to develop a fully functional, responsive, and easy-to-navigate WordPress website based on the provided UX/UI designs. The goal was to:

• Faithfully translate the visual and interactive elements of the design into a live website.
• Clearly present Mustard Seed Project’s mission, vision, activities, and impact.
• Create distinct sections for different aspects of their work (About, Impact, School System, Support).
• Facilitate user engagement through clear calls-to-action for volunteering, donations, and contact.
• Ensure the website is informative, credible, and effectively represents the organization’s values.

Key Features (Implemented in WordPress)

Based on Maria Wageeh’s UX/UI design, the following features were implemented using WordPress:

✅ Multi-Page Structure: Developed distinct pages for Home, About Us, Our Work & Impact, School System, and Support & Contact, implementing the designed navigation.
✅ Content Integration: Populated the site with provided text, high-quality images, and image galleries showcasing the project’s activities and beneficiaries.
✅ Impact & Results Display: Implemented sections clearly presenting statistics, success metrics (like pass rates), and compelling testimonials (including video embeds).
✅ Detailed Program Information: Created structured layouts to explain their educational approach, curriculum details, facility information, and support programs.
✅ Call-to-Action Integration: Implemented clear buttons and sections for volunteering details, donation information (Give/Pray), and contact methods (Email, WhatsApp).
✅ Supporter & Partner Recognition: Integrated logos and information about supporting organizations.
✅ Responsive Design: Ensured the website functions and displays correctly across various devices (desktops, tablets, mobiles) as per the responsive design specifications.
✅ Contact & Communication Channels: Integrated contact information and potentially forms or direct links (like WhatsApp) for easy user outreach.
